Prison Law

The rights of an incarcerated person shall not be extinguished after a criminal convictions.

Sections 7 to 12 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms continue to protect these individuals.

Everyone who is incarcerated, with very few exceptions, has the right to apply for release from prison before the end of his sentence.

Me Anthony El-Haddad represents these incarcerated persons in their hearings before provincial or federal commissioners for their release hearings or parole hearings.

Our team therefore regularly participates in hearings before:

- The Quebec Parole Board

- The Parole Board of Canada
